Below are the training titles and descriptions for each Spanish Kinship Care FCSN training. After you have determined which trainings you are interested in ordering, select the number of tests and answer keys you will need for each. Only one answer key is needed for each training per facility. Each test includes a certificate of completion per foster parent.

*We encourage you to check with the licensing entity in your state to ensure that FCSN trainings will be counted toward training hours for your foster parents.

The Pros and Cons of Kinship Care
Kinship care, at least theoretically, is the best option when a child must leave the parental home. While there are benefits to kinship care for children, there are also numerous instances when kinship care is NOT the best option for foster youth. This training describes the pros, cons and permanency differences between kin and non-kin foster care.
